Aerro's little photo shoot turned into an all day thing as mama's (aka sister's) kept plopping their kids in front of the camera. I will share some of the 600 pictures in the next few posts. First up are Floyd & Gloria's darling girls. Where are you Trent?
Thanks mom for letting us haul your furniture outside. Again.
Not the fish. These are FRESH. Levi brought the boy's halibut fishing on the ocean yesterday.
14 years ago today my 2nd son, Riley Michael, was born. 14 years ago I was carrying around 60 extra pounds and attempting my one and only home birth. After laboring for a day and a half he made his appearance at the hospital. He was worth all that and more:-). Happy birthday buddy!
Taj asked me to snap some photos of Aerro in his baptism gown. This gown is special. Tsasa's Grandmother made it for her mother (Aerro's Grandmother) and Tsasa & all of her siblings have worn it. Ok. That might be a bit confusing. Aerro is adorable. Now that isn't the least bit confusing.
Matt & Anna drove down from Spokane for the long weekend so we walked to Grandma's for a day of visiting. I also had a chance to snap some photos of the new line, more on that later.
PS- The snail situation is out of control. Cousin's everywhere collecting ten's of thouands of the slimy critters. Grandma's paper cup supply has been depleted. Sweet little girls begging their mothers to take them home.
Meet Snelly and his new mother, Sabra. Such a good mother, fussing over his bed and water and checking up on him every five minutes. In the end the stress was too much for her and she set him free.
PS- I do have a life beyond snails, snakes & two o'clock snacks ( I think?). We received a shipment or two of the Bella Collection and we will be selling them at wholesale prices until we run out of fabric. We will also be adding some fabulous new pieces to the Port Of Morrow Collection & Introducing our brand new Villa Antoinette Collection.
I get so busy with the mundane details of life that, sadly, I forget to stop and smell the roses.Today I sat quietly and observed my little creatures for a moment and found myself in a world of enchantment.A place where you can wear your orange sweatshirt & flame swimming shorts for a week straight and still be cool. A place where snakes and pigs coexist peacefully and get married to each other. The girl snake was even wearing a dress.Fancy that.Though I think she may have bought it from the same place that the emperor bought his new clothes (or perhaps I am getting old). A place where your only worry is what to have for your two o’clock snack. A place where you heartily raise your sticky glass of lemonade and toast your friends for no reason at all.
PS-Levi called me while I was composing this post and asked me to run out and read him a number he had written down. On the dirty undercarriage of our ranch buggy (aka rtv). You thought I was bad.
Beautiful photos & a testimony from one of my favorite eden's bouquet stockists. Did I mention they are wonderful & patient? If you ever find yourself in Albertville, Alabama stop in & see them at The Princess & The Pea.
"We love everything we have purchased from you! People stop us everywhere we go asking 'what brand' my girls have on and 'where can I find it'. I am always proud to put them in an Eden's Bouquet no matter where we are going! " -Heather, The Princess & The Pea
