Cannon Beach

Our spur of the moment getaway found us in the most romantic beach town.  Cannon Beach is one of my favorite places to be.  It was a beautiful, warm day. Rare for Oregon beaches (well the warm part anyway).

We stayed at a beautiful boutique hotel, the Sea Sprite on the Estuary. I highly recommend!

 

Dining at the best restaurant in Cannon Beach, Morris' Fireside Inn.

Years ago I found this shop and this is where I got Sabra's name (pr. say-bruh).

 

   

My boyfriend called

Levi just called and asked if I would sneak away to the ocean with him for a night.  Ummm...YES!  We will be back soon with a mess of photos.  Have a lovely weekend.

My knucklehead

Melissa from Knuckleheads Clothing asked Jace to model part of their super cool clothing line the other day. Jace is a big fan of KH.  He even started sculpting his fabulous flaming hair into a mohawk, you have to see it Melissa, it is so cute!  Local photographer Shannon Sewell shot these awesome photos.

Cookie Magazine

eden's bouquet Amelie Ruffle Skirt is featured in the May issue of Cookie magazine!

 

I have sent many pieces over the months to Cookie upon their request but have learned that this doesn't mean that you will be featured in the magazine.  When I was packing the box I almost left the skirt out because I hadn't put it up on our site yet.  At the last minute I decided to throw it in, good thing. I don't think anyone is more proud than Levi.  So if he tells you about it 3 or 4 times, just smile.

My sil Amanda sent this photo of Valerie all dolled up in eden's bouquet Garden Gate Jacket, Vintage Garden Tee & Bicycle Pants.  Valerie's mama is fighting for her life right now and we can't wait for her to get better! We are thinking of all of you.

Memory lane

Our visit at Jon's on Sunday was a stroll down memory lane.  The first time that we have been there to "visit" since Nancy died.  So many good memories of playing, picking raspberries, riding dirt bikes around and around the berry field when we were kids.  Still seems so strange that Nancy isn't here. Thanks for having us over, I think I gained 5 lbs and it is likely your fault.

Poplin Tie Top & Ruffle Leggings

I love this set!  Then again I could send Shannon a paper bag and she would make it look good.  My girls play like boys so they wear leggings with everything.  I had to design a pair eden's bouquet style. I adore poplin, I am not sure why.  I just do.

Adrienne Bloomer

Simple & sweet little bloomers.  I wear them on Violet with a dress or a tee.  The Adrienne Baby Bloomer is part of our new Port Of Morrow line.
