Long Beach, Washington
Generally speaking, If I stop and think about it (like right now), Long Beach is a rather reserved little town. I get the feeling that some of the folk that work in the quaint & quirky little shops are on the verge of losing it. Like if one more kid pulls the trigger on a pop gun they might fly into a rage and strangle them on the spot. The children are gleefully oblivious.
We wandered around town and brought the kids to the same amusement park that I went to when I was a little girl. It's a wonder the rides haven't fallen apart. I went on the tilt-a-whirl with a few of the little ones and I thought I was going to die. I was the last one off because I seriously could not stand up. What in the world! I used to ride that thing all day long! I paid for that one for the rest of the day.
Violet, pony tails all askew, LOVING the carousel!
