The house we are renting is solid proof that I am not “all” snob. A little red box with an interior that is a perfect preservation of the year 1970 something. A frightening combination of paneling, Formica & linoleum all in a palette of avocado green and peachy orange. We drove by the other rental house that Anna is going to stay in when she comes down tomorrow. The phone conversation went something like this: Hello? Hey! We went and looked at your house! Got a pen & paper so I can give you directions? Yep. {I proceed to give her basic directions to the house} It is the little white house with the sign on the gate that says “Rural FBI headquarters”. Be careful that your kids don’t fall down the steep banks into the bogs. Oh and there is a surveillance camera, be careful where your kids pee. {nervous laugher} Oh my. Yeah. It used to be a drug house. It will be fun! Come over and visit us when you get here. Our rental is the little red house right next to the meth lab with the freaky mannequins in the window. {we lose cell service} Shoot! I didn’t get a chance to tell her about the loaded guns and senile neighbor. Can’t wait to see the house I rented for mom & dad! Seriously though? After gingerly exploring our place I soon realize it is perfect for us. Plenty of sleeping room for everyone, a large yard & a nice path to the beach. Most importantly the rental agency is so easy to deal with, unlike the keepers of the Bloomer mansion who are masters of discrimination and deceit. Who fail to disclose the broken amenities and forget to add the words “mosquito infested” to “path to the ocean”. Some of my favorite photos from the ocean... Destiny's sand art Chad & Anya playing in the sand... Anna's baby girl... I love this photo of my mom & Violet...
hehe! that was so fun! love all the pics. the one of you and vi turned out adorable..all of them did!
